Our Story
Taylor's Oak is a family-owned restaurant on Taylors Lane where the cooking starts before sunrise. Everything comes out of our kitchen the old-fashioned way — real mashed potatoes peeled by hand, biscuits rolled fresh, gravy made from scratch and desserts baked locally every morning.
Regulars come for the Southern classics: sweet potato biscuits that folks drive out of their way for, shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy, hamburger steak with butter beans, the taco salad, hearty cheesesteaks and our buffalo chicken salad. Save room — the homemade cheesecake is the reason plenty of people come back the next day.
Portions are big, prices stay honest, and the staff knows your name by the second visit. Bring the kids, bring the whole crew — there is a seat for everybody.

Went for breakfast and the food was delicious! I got the burrito with a sweet potato biscuit on the side. I can't recommend this enough! $20 for two people — you can't beat it. Service was excellent.

This is a sweet cozy little place with HUGE flavor. I'm a breakfast kinda gal and I'm telling you their sweet potato biscuits have a chokehold on my husband and I. It's heavenly.

The quality, quantity, and price of the meal is wonderful. Hamburger steak with real mashed potatoes and butter beans, and I still took half of it home.
